Unload a roll from the take-up reel 1. On the printer's front panel, select the icon, then select Take-up reel > Disable take-up reel. The printer advances the substrate to allow for cutting. 2. Switch the wind-direction switch to the off position. The switch is in the off position when it is centered (in other words, when the switch is neither in position 1 nor position 2). 3. Remove the loop-shaper. If you omit this step, it will fall to the floor with the substrate when the substrate is cut. To remove the heavy loop-shaper, first lift the support, then press the lever.
