6 Configuring FC ports The EGM license is required only for 8 Gbps platforms, such as the Brocade DCX and DCX-4S enterprise-class platforms, the Encryption Switch, the 300, 5300, and 5100 switches. For non-8 Gbps platforms, all functionalities are available without EGM license. The following procedure describes how to open the FC Port Configuration wizard. The wizard is self-explanatory, so the explicit steps are not documented here. 1. Click a port in the Switch View to open the Port Administration window (Figure 53 on page 96). 2. Click the FC Ports tab. FIGURE 57 FC Port Configuration Wizard, FC Ports 3. Select the port you want to configure from the tree on the left. 4. Click the General subtab.
