System configuration parameters 3 System configuration parameters You must disable the switch before you can configure fabric parameters. You can change the following system configuration parameters: • Switch fabric settings • Virtual channel settings • Arbitrated loop parameters • System services • Signed firmware Configuring fabric settings Perform the following steps to configure the fabric settings. 1. Open the Switch Administration window as described on page 41. 2. Disable the switch as described in "Enabling and disabling a switch" on page 47. 3. Click the Configure tab. 4.
