Using a Printer Server Using NetWare This section describes the setting procedure for network printers in the NetWare 1 environment. In the NetWare environment, you can connect the machine as a "print server" or "remote printer". Using NetWare
This section describes the setting procedure for network printers in the NetWare
environment. In the NetWare environment, you can connect the machine as a
“print server” or “remote printer”.
Important
IPv6 cannot be used on this function.

Using SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin
To use the machine in a NetWare environment, use SmartDeviceMonitor for
Admin to set the NetWare printing environment.
Note
The NetWare Client provided by Novell is required to set the printing en-
vironment using SmartDeviceMonitor for Admin under the following en-
vironments:
