4 Replacement Procedures 4.1 General Removing the Optional PC Card To remove the PC Card (option), make sure the computer is in boot mode, then follow the steps below and refer to figure 4-2. CAUTION: Before you remove a PC Card, refer to the card's documentation and to your operating system documentation for proper procedures and precautions. 1. Press the eject button of the PC card you want to remove to extend the button. 2. Press the extended eject button to pop the card out slightly. 3. Grasp the PC card and remove it. 4. Removing the Optional PC Card
To remove the PC Card (option), make sure the computer is in boot mode, then follow the steps
below and refer to figure 4-2.
CAUTION:
Before you remove a PC Card, refer to the card's documentation and to your
operating system documentation for proper procedures and precautions.
1.
Press the
eject button
of the
PC card
you want to remove to extend the button.
2.
Press the extended
eject button
to pop the card out slightly.
3.
Grasp the
PC
card
and remove it.
4.
When the
eject butt
on is pressed again, it is put in.
