4 Replacement Procedures 4.8 Palm Rest and IPS Board 4.8 Palm Rest and IPS Board Removing the Palm Rest and IPS Board To remove the palm rest and IPS board, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-19 to 4-22. 1. Lay the computer upside down. 2. Remove three M2×4 silver screws securing the palm rest. 3. Turn the computer right side up and open the display so that it lies flat. Palm Rest and IPS Board
Removing the Palm Rest and IPS Board
To remove the palm rest and IPS board, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-19 to 4-22.
1.
Lay the
computer
upside down.
2.
Remove
three M2
ยท
4 silver screws
securing the
palm rest
.
3.
Turn the computer right side up and open the
display
so that it lies flat.
