Assign IP Address Enter the IP address for the client. Ensure that the IP address is configured to be allowed on the PPTP server. Idle Timeout Enter the time in minutes to timeout PPTP connections. 8.8 L2TP VPN Server Use this screen to configure settings for Layer 2 Tunneling Protocol (L2TP) server. Click Security > L2TP VPN > L2TP Server to open this screen as shown next.
