Chapter 13 Troubleshooting 13.6 Reset the WiMAX Device to Its Factory Defaults If you forget your password or cannot access the Web Configurator, you will need to use the Reset button to reload the factory-default configuration file. This means that you will lose all configurations that you had previously and the password will be reset to 1234. You will lose all of your changes when you push the Reset button. To reset the WiMAX Device, 1 Make sure the Power LED is on and not blinking. 2 Press and hold the Reset button for five to ten seconds. Release the Reset button when the Power LED begins to blink. The default settings have been restored. If the WiMAX Device restarts automatically, wait for the WiMAX Device to finish restarting, and log in to the web configurator. The password is "1234". If the WiMAX Device does not restart automatically, disconnect and reconnect the WiMAX Device's power.
