Discharging

The

paper

discharging

process

is

where

the

transported

paper

onto

which

the

toner

transfer

has

been

completed

is

separated

from

the

transfer

drum

by

applying

an

AC

charge

to

the

paper.

The

AC

charger

unit

for

discharge

the

paper

is

located

as

shown

in

Fig.4-8.

ii)

The

AC

charger

unit

consists

of

the

case

and

a

charger

wire.

A

high

alternating

voltage

(VAC)

is

fed

to

the

AC

charger

unit.
