CHAPTER 2 VIII. ENVELOPE FEEDER A. Outline of the Electrical System The envelope feeder operation sequence is controlled by the DC controller in the printer. The DC controller outputs paper pick-up commands (1st start, 2nd start) to the envelope feeder driver at the appropriate timing via serial lines. The envelope feeder driver drives the motor according to these commands. The envelope feeder driver then notifies the DC controller of the envelope feeder's status. The figure below outlines the flow of signals between the envelope feeder and the printer. The envelope feeder is supplied with +24VDC from the printer. VIII. ENVELOPE FEEDER
A.
Outline of the Electrical System
The envelope feeder operation sequence is controlled by the DC controller in the printer.
The
DC controller outputs paper pick-up commands (1st start, 2nd start) to the envelope feeder driver
at the appropriate timing via serial lines.
The envelope feeder driver drives the motor according
to these commands.
The envelope feeder driver then notifies the DC controller of the envelope
feeder's status.
The figure below outlines the flow of signals between the envelope feeder and the printer.
The envelope feeder is supplied with +24VDC from the printer.
