CHAPTER 2 X. PAPER DECK A. Outline The paper deck sends the paper to the printer, which subsequently prints and delivers the paper. The printer is controlled by various commands sent from the video controller, whereas the paper deck is controlled by commands sent from the option controller. The option controller also controls the other options (stapler stacker, etc.) via the paper deck. The video controller controls the printer and the various options by controlling the DC controller and the option controller in the printer.
