Summary There are 4 fan motors installed to circulate air within the printer and prevent the internal temperature from rising. • Fixing unit/scanner unit fan (FM1): Blows air from the fixing unit and the scanner unit vicinity. • Power supply fan (FM2): Blows air from the power supply. • Electrical unit fan (FM3): Intake fan for the video controller unit. • Fixing unit fan (FM4): Blows air from the fixing unit vicinity.
