CHAPTER 2 B. Paper Pick-up/Feed System The envelope feeder motor is a stepping motor (SMT11) that rotates clockwise and counter-clock wise according to commands received from the envelope feeder driver. When the motor rotates clockwise, all rollers in the envelope feeder are rotated, however when rotated counter clock wise only the upper separation and feed rollers are rotated. The envelope feeder driver rotates the pick-up motor for about 1.0 second after receiving the 1st start command from the DC controller. After 0.1 second, the motor is rotated counter-clock wise for about 1.9 seconds. This process picks-up and feeds the envelope into the printer. The envelope is stopped when it is 16mm past the registration paper sensor (PS1). Following this, the envelope feeder driver rotates the motor counter-clock wise according to the 2nd start command received for about 1 second to feed the envelope again. B.
Paper Pick-up/Feed System
The envelope feeder motor is a stepping motor (SMT11) that rotates clockwise and counter-clock
wise according to commands received from the envelope feeder driver.
When the motor rotates clockwise, all rollers in the envelope feeder are rotated, however when
rotated counter clock wise only the upper separation and feed rollers are rotated.
The envelope feeder driver rotates the pick-up motor for about 1.0 second after receiving the
1st start command from the DC controller.
After 0.1 second, the motor is rotated counter-clock
wise for about 1.9 seconds.
This process picks-up and feeds the envelope into the printer.
The envelope is stopped when it is 16mm past the registration paper sensor (PS1).
Following
this, the envelope feeder driver rotates the motor counter-clock wise according to the 2nd start
command received for about 1 second to feed the envelope again.
