- Multicast - If the rate of L2 multicast traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped. - Unknown Unicast - If the rate of unknown L2 unicast (destination lookup failure) traffic ingressing on an interface increases beyond the configured threshold, the traffic will be dropped. • Storm Control Admin Mode - Enables or Disables Storm Control. • Storm Control Rate Threshold (0-100%) - Specifies the maximum rate at which unknown packets are forwarded. The range is a percent of the total threshold. Defining Storm Control Port Parameters 1. Open the Storm Control interface. 2. Edit the fields on the screen. 3. Click Apply Changes.
