- OSPF Type-1 - OSPF Type-2 - RIP • Next Hop Interface - The outgoing router interface to use when forwarding traffic to the destination. • Next Hop IP Address - The outgoing router IP address to use when forwarding traffic to the next router (if any) in the path towards the destination. The next router is always one of the adjacent neighbors or the IP address of the local interface for a directly attached network. Displaying the Router Route Table using the CLI Command For information about the CLI command that performs this function, see the following chapter in the CLI Reference Guide: • IP Routing Commands Best Routes Table Use the Router Best Routes Table page to display the best routes from the routing table.
