Syntax timers basic update invalid holddown flush To return to the default settings, use the no timers basic command. Parameters update invalid holddown flush Enter the number of seconds to specify the rate at which RIP routing updates are sent. The range is from zero (0) to 4294967295. The default is 30 seconds.
