6. Open the pin-feed covers and pull the paper release lever forward as shown in Figure 1-12. Figure 1-12. Opening the pin-feed covers and paper release fever 7. Guide the paper into the paper slot, and push it through until it comes up between the ribbon guide and the platen. (Moving the paper with a side-to-side motion makes it easier to push the paper through.) 1-11
