Chapter 9 Operational Settings Specifying the Multifeed Detection Range [Document Check Area Specification for Multifeed Detection] The following settings are available only when [Check Overlapping(Ultrasonic)] is selected. 1 From the tree listing on the left, select [Device Setting 2] D [Document check area specification for Multifeed Detection]. Then, select the [Selected range] checkbox. 2 Specify the detection range. Detection Range Description Selected range Must be checked to specify the detection range. 35 Detection range Feeding direction None Enable Start End Document Mark this checkbox to enable the settings configured in this dialog box. Otherwise, let the checkbox unmarked.Clearing this checkbox sets both the starting and ending positions to "0," making the whole range of the document to be checked for multifeeds. Disables the Multifeed Detection for the specified range. Enables the Multifeed Detection for the specified range. Specify the starting position of the detection range from the leading edge of the document. The configurable area is from 0 to 510 mm in 2 mm increments, where the starting position is less than the ending position. Specify the ending position of the detection range from the leading edge of the document. The configurable area is from 0 to 510 mm in 2 mm increments, where the starting position is less than the ending position.
