Chapter 2 Loading Documents 2.2 ADF-Loaded Documents Sizes The following shows the sizes of documents scannable with the ADF. A Feeding direction B A : 53 mm (2.09 in.) to 297 mm (11.69 in.) B : 74 mm (2.91 in.) to 431 mm (16.97 in.) (*1) *1: Up to 3 m (118.11 inches) of documents can be scanned when "Long page" is selected in [Scan Type]. Paper Quality Paper Types The following types of paper are recommended as the scannable documents: • Woodfree paper • Wood containing paper For documents of paper types other than the above, check if they can be scanned; test with a few dummy sheets of the same paper type before scanning the actual document. Paper Thicknesses Paper thickness is expressed by "paper weight."
