Foreword Getting Started Audio & Xpdr Ctrl Com/Nav The database CYCLE number, EXPIRES, and DISABLES dates of the ChartView database appear in either white or yellow text. When the ChartView EXPIRES date is reached, ChartView becomes inoperative 70 days later. This is shown as the DISABLES date. When the DISABLES date is reached, charts are no longer available for viewing. The ChartView database is provided directly from Jeppesen. Refer to Jeppesen Databases in Appendix A for instructions on revising the ChartView database. FPL 7.4 FliteCharts® FliteCharts® resemble the paper version of National Aeronautical Charting Direct-To Office (NACO) terminal procedures charts. The charts are displayed with high- resolution and in color for applicable charts. Proc Garmin FliteCharts is an electronic version of the National Aeronautical Navigation Services Charts (AeroNav Services), which was formerly NACO. Charts FliteCharts lets pilots quickly find and view all AeroNav Services Departure Procedures (DP), Standard Terminal Arrival Routes (STARs), approach Wpt Info charts, and airport diagrams. If the current approach is known, the GTN 7xx Map automatically selects the correct chart based on the flight plan. Pilots will have access to all approach plates currently published by AeroNav, which encompasses Traffic over 15,000 charts and over 2,900 airports in the U.S. FliteCharts updates are available from Garmin every 28 days, and the new georeferenced capability will Terrain be included with the regular updates. FliteCharts database subscription is available from Garmin.
