13.9 Nearest Flight Service Station (FSS) Foreword The Nearest Flight Service Station (FSS) Page displays the facility name, bearing to, distance, and frequency to the five nearest FSS points of communication Getting Started (within 200 NM of your present position). For each FSS listed, the Nearest FSS Audio & Page also indicates the frequency(s) and may be used to quickly tune the COM Xpdr Ctrl transceiver to the FSS's frequency.
