LIFELINE TELEPHONE SUPPORT Lifeline is a fee-based telephone support program for Vectra PCs available after the one-year telephone support provided as part of the hardware warranty has expired. Your call can either be charged to your phone bill at a per minute rate or to your credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) at a flat fee. The charge begins AFTER you have been put in contact with a support technician. If your problem is found to be covered by the HP Hardware Warranty, no charge will be applied. You can purchase the HP NPS service as an annual contract, billable in advance annually, biannually, quarterly, or at an hourly rate. This contract service provides unlimited toll-free access to HP Response Center Engineers (RCEs).
