However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures: • reorient or relocate the receiving antenna • increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver • connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the receiver is connected • consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help. Hewlett-Packard's system certification tests were conducted with HP-supported peripheral devices and HP shielded cables, such as those you receive with your system. Changes or modifications not expressly approved by Hewlett-Packard could void the user's authority to operate the equipment. Safety Warning for the USA and Canada If the power cord is not supplied with the computer, select the proper power cord according to your local national electric code. USA: use a UL listed type SVT detachable power cord. Canada: use a CSA certified detachable power cord. For your safety, never remove the PC's cover without first removing the power cord and any connection to a telecommunication network. Always replace the cover before switching on again. Changing a battery There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectlyinstalled. The old battery must be removed before installing a replacement battery. Replace only with the same or equivalent type recommended by the manufacturer. For your safety, never attempt to recharge, disassemble or burn the old battery. The battery in this PC is a lithium battery which does not contain heavy metals, nevertheless, in order to protect the environment, do not dispose of batteries in household waste. Used batteries should be returned to the shop from which you bought them, to the dealer from whom you purchased the PC, or to Hewlett-Packard, so that they can either be recycled or disposed of in an environmentally sound way. Returned batteries will be accepted free of charge.
