hp workstation i2000 owner's guide 3.15 Boot Option Maintenance Menu / NOTE For reference purposes, you should record the current settings in Appendix B. When you make changes to the settings, update this record. The boot option maintenance menu is organized into a set of menu options allowing you to select how your system boots. Table 18 summarizes the options. Table 18. Boot Option Maintenance Menu Summary Boot from a File Add Boot Option Delete Boot Option(s) Change Boot Order Manage Boot Next Setting Set Auto Boot Time Out Select Active Console Output Devices Select Active Console Input Devices Select Active Standard Error Devices Cold Reset Exit Allows browsing for a boot file. Adds new boot option file to Select Boot Option menu. Removes boot option file from Select Boot Option menu. Changes order of option in Select Boot Option menu. Sets or resets the option to which the system will automatically boot on the next reboot. Sets time delay before the system auto boots to the item selected in the BootNext option. Allows output to be directed to selected options. Allows input to be directed from selected options. Selects devices where errors are reported. Cold reboot of system.
