CAUTION: The power control button on the device and/or the power switch on the power supply do not turn off the electrical current supplied to the device. The device also might have more than one power cord. To remove all electrical current from the device, ensure that all power cords are disconnected from the power source. Controls and indicators The most commonly used controls and status indicators are on the front panel of the server. 1 AC power light 2 Hard Disk Status light 3 Hard disk Activity light 4 System power light 5 Power control botton 6 Reset button System Power Light: When this green light is on, system power is present in the server. When this light flashes, the server is in standby mode (the system power supply is turned off and AC current is present). When this light is off, either a power supply, AC power, or a light has failed. Attention: If this light is off, it does not mean there is no electrical current present in the server. The light might be burned out. To remove all electrical current from the server, you must unplug the server power cords from the electrical outlets or from the UPS.
