Transition Networks SISPM1040-3xxx-L Web User Guide Chapter 7 - Ethernet Services The switch supports Ethernet Services. This section lets you view and/or configure EVC ports, Encapsulations, L2CP, CoS ID Policers, EVCs, ECEs, and EVC statistics. EVC (Ethernet Virtual Connection) is a MEF standard that describes services provided to customers at User Network Interfaces (UNIs). Inside provider networks, nodes are connected using Internal Network-to-Network Interfaces (I-NNIs). Connections between service providers are done using External Network-to-Network Interfaces (E-NNIs). An Ethernet Virtual Connection is an association of two or more UNIs. 7-1 Ports This page lets you view and configure current EVC port parameters from the Switch > Ethernet Services > Ports menu path.
