Transition Networks SISPM1040-3xxx-L Web User Guide 9-7.2 DSCP Translation This page lets you configure the basic QoS DSCP Translation settings for the switch. DSCP translation can be done in Ingress or Egress. Web Interface To configure the DSCP Translation parameters in the web interface: 1. Click Quality of Service, DSCP and DSCP Translation. 2. Set the Ingress Translate and Egress Remap Parameters. 3. Enable or disable Classify. 4. Click the Apply button to save the setting. 5. To cancel the settings click the Reset button. It will revert to previously saved values. Figure 9-7.2: DSCP Translation Parameter descriptions: DSCP : Maximum number of supported DSCP values is 64 and valid DSCP value are 0 - 63. Ingress : Ingress side DSCP can be first translated to new DSCP before using the DSCP for QoS class and DPL map. There are two configuration parameters for DSCP Translation: Translate: DSCP at Ingress side can be translated to any of (0-63) DSCP values. Classify: Click to enable Classification at Ingress side.
