Flash Memory Initializing the Flash Memory Flash memory has saved mail templates, font data, etc., stored on it. Important! When you initialize a flash memory, the data stored on it is deleted.Press the key on the control panel. Note For protection against accidentally initializing the SD card- causing the loss of data stored on the card-the MFP default for Initial Lock is enabled. Before you can initialize the SD card, you must first change the Initial Lock setting to disabled. To enter the [Admin Setup] menu, an administrator password is required.
