10. Troubleshooting Message Causes Solutions Cannot Obtain IP #### Server The machine cannot obtain an IP address from the FTP, SMTP, POP3, or SNTP server. If the problem involves the FTP server, check the [Edit Network Scan Destination] setting in Smart Organizing Monitor. If the problem involves the SMTP/POP3/ SNTP server, check the [Server Properties...] setting in Smart Organizing Monitor. Communication Error #### The connection with the FTP server, SMTP server, SMB server, SNTP server, or USB memory device was lost while sending or receiving data. If the problem involves the FTP/SMB server, check the [Edit Network Scan Destination] setting in Smart Organizing Monitor. If the problem involves the SMTP/SNTP server, check the [Server Properties...] setting in Smart Organizing Monitor. If the problem involves the USB flash drive, check that it is a supported model, and then reinsert it. Invalid Password #### Server The password entered to access the FTP, SMTP, POP3, or SMB server is invalid. For future reference, make a note of the correct password and keep it safe. Failed To Connect #### A connection with the FTP server, SMTP server, POP3 server, SMB server, SNTP server, or USB memory device has failed. If the problem involves the FTP/SMB server, check the [Edit Network Scan Destination] setting in Smart Organizing Monitor. If the problem involves the SMTP/POP3/ SNTP server, check the [Server Properties...] setting in Smart Organizing Monitor.
