The cam latch (B in Figure 4) is used to seat and unseat the connectors on the backplane. A label (G) on the disk provides the following information: • Disk mechanism height: 1.6 inch (half height) or 1 inch (low profile) • Rotational speed: 10K RPM • Capacity: 9.1 Gbyte, 18.2 Gbyte, 36 Gbyte, or 73 Gbyte A large zero on the capacity label distinguishes a filler from a disk. Fillers are required in all unused slots to maintain proper airflow within the enclosure. CAUTION Fillers must be installed in unused slots to maintain proper cooling within the disk enclosure.
