Note If the disk module you are installing has been removed from another Disk Array FC60, you should ensure that the module has a status of Unassigned. This is done by deleting the volume group the disk module was a part of in the original disk array. See "Moving Disks from One Disk Array to Another" on page 201. 1. Remove the replacement disk from its ESD bag, being careful to grasp the disk by its handle (A in Figure 92). 2. Pull the cam latch (B) away from the disk module. 3. Mark the slot number that the disk is being installed into on the Slot Location Map on the top of the disk module. See Figure 91. This facilitates reinstalling the disk module in the correct slot.
