With the handle down, slide the replacement power supply into the empty slot (D in Figure 94). The supply begins to engage the backplane with 3/8 inch (8 mm) still exposed. 2. Swing the handle upward to seat the power supply into the backplane. The power supply should be flush with the chassis. 3. Tighten the screw (B) in the power supply handle (A ). 4. Plug the power cord into the power supply and electrical source. 5. Check the Power Supply LED. It should then turn green. If the LED remains off or is amber, see chapter 6, Troubleshooting for information on identifying and solving the problem. Disk Enclosure Modules 299
