Caller ID Service Caller list The base unit and each cordless handset can record the information of up to 50 different callers in the caller list. You can use this list to return missed calls. L Caller information includes the caller's name and phone number, the date and time the call was received, and the number of times the caller called. Missed calls If a call is not answered, the unit treats the call as a missed call. The number of missed calls is shown on the base unit/ cordless handset's display. This lets you know if you should view the Caller List to see who called while you were out. Example (from the 0:Base base unit): 3 missed calls 12:01AM APR.28 Viewing and calling back using the caller list Base Unit Handset Using the base unit If you have received new calls, the number of missed calls is displayed in standby mode. 1 Press {} to enter the list. L The number of new calls is displayed. L If the Caller List is empty, "No items stored" is displayed. 2 Press {} to search from the oldest call. Example: John Smith 1-012-345-6789 12:01AM APR.28 L To scroll through the list of callers, press {}. L A Q is displayed next to items which have already been viewed. L If the same caller calls more than once, it will be displayed with the number (for example, "×2"). Only the date and time of the most recent call will be stored. 3 Lift the handset or press {SP-PHONE}. L The displayed phone number is dialed automatically. L You can press a line key instead of pressing {SP-PHONE}. Example: Talk Line1 10123456789 Note: L Calling back will not be possible if the caller information does not include a phone number. L In some cases, you may have to edit the number before dialing. (For example, you may have to delete "1" and the area code.) Caller list
The base unit and each cordless handset
