Fax Features Home Position Specify the type of original immediately after the power is turned on and when the {Clear Modes} key is pressed. ❖ Home Position • Image Density Allows one of five image density steps to be set as the home position. When set to on, if the receiver's paper is smaller than the paper you are sending on, the message is automatically reduced to fit onto the paper available at the other end. If you turn this function off, the scale of the original is maintained and some parts of the image may be lost at the other end. • Fax Header Allows the fax header as the home position to be set to on or off.
