Overdubbing 31 s Simultaneously monitoring the recording source and the track playback 6 While playing the audio source that you wish to record, raise the CUE LEVEL control of input channel 2. Use the CUE LEVEL control of input channel 2 to adjust the monitor level of the signal that will be recorded on track 2. While listening to the sound in your headphones or monitor speakers, adjust the monitor level as desired. If you begin recording now, the playback sound from track 1 will be mixed with the track 2 recording source, and can be monitored via the CUE bus. s Start recording 7 Press the PLAY button to begin recording. When you finish recording, press the STOP button. s Listen to the recording 8 Press the LAST REC SEARCH [IN] button to move to the location where you began recording track 2. If you wish to start listening from the beginning of the song, press the SONG SEARCH [ ] button. 9 Press the PLAY button to playback, and listen to the recording. 0 If you are satisfied with the recording, press the REC SELECT 2 button. The track 2 track recording indicator (DIR) will go dark. While playing the audio source that you wish
to record, raise the CUE LEVEL control of
input channel 2.
Use the CUE LEVEL control of input channel 2 to
adjust the monitor level of the signal that will be
recorded on track 2. While listening to the sound
in your headphones or monitor speakers, adjust
the monitor level as desired. If you begin record-
ing now, the playback sound from track 1 will be
mixed with the track 2 recording source, and can
be monitored via the CUE bus.
Start recording

Press the PLAY button to begin recording.
When you finish recording, press the STOP but-
ton.
Listen to the recording

Press the LAST REC SEARCH [IN] button to
move to the location where you began
recording track 2.
If you wish to start listening from the beginning of
the song, press the SONG SEARCH [
] button.

Press the PLAY button to playback, and listen
to the recording.

If you are satisfied with the recording, press
the REC SELECT 2 button.
The track 2 track recording indicator (DIR) will
go dark.
Go ahead and record the remaining tracks 3 and 4
by overdubbing in the same way.
