1
CUTOFF (Filter Cutoff Frequency)
............
[Knob 1]
Relative
[Settings]
-64 ~ +63
Sets the filter cutoff frequency. Positive values move the cut-
off toward higher frequencies, while negative values move
the cutoff toward lower frequencies.
The effect of the cutoff frequency will vary according to the
selected filter type.
2
RESONANCE
........................................................
[Knob 2]
Relative
[Settings]
-64 ~ +63
Produces a resonant peak centered at the filter’s cutoff fre-
quency.
When the BPF filter type is selected, higher resonance set-
tings produce a narrower passband at the cutoff frequency.
When the BEF filter type is selected, higher resonance set-
tings produce a narrower elimination band at the cutoff fre-
quency.

BYPASS
...........................
The filter is OFF. The filter
type indicators on the panel
will all be off.
Sets the filter type.
LPF24, LPF18, LPF12
.....
Low-pass filter
Frequencies higher than the cutoff frequency are cut off.
Three cutoff slopes are provided — 24 dB/oct, 18 dB/oct, and
12 dB/oct — each with its own distinct sound.
HPF
..............................
High-pass filter
Frequencies lower than the cutoff frequency are cut off.
BPF
..............................
Band-pass filter
Frequencies around the center frequency are passed, while all
other frequencies are blocked.
BEF
..............................
Band-elimination filter
Frequencies around the center frequency are blocked, while
all other frequencies are passed.
4
ENV. DEPTH (Envelope Depth)
..................
[Knob 4]
Relative
[Settings]
-64 ~ +63
Sets the depth of the filter envelope set via the FEG display
(Page 101). Negative settings invert the filter envelope.
NOTE
Increasing the resonance excessively may
cause some voices to distort.
