About the Pattern Chain Mode About the Pattern Chain Mode This mode is used for sequential pattern playback. Patterns can be chained to create complete songs, and the results can be converted into an RS7000 song. Press [PATT CHAIN] to go to the Pattern Chain Play screen of PATTERN CHAIN mode. The Pattern Chain Play page will appear. PATTERN CHAIN G Save [SAVE]...(Page 166) Saves data to memory card or disk. NOTE Refer to "Chapter 1: Basics", page 51, for more information on patterns and songs. G Load [LOAD]...(Page 169) Loads data from memory card or disk. The PATTERN CHAIN Mode SUB MODES The PATTERN CHAIN mode has the following 7 sub modes. G PATTERN CHAIN [PATT CHAIN]...(Page 159) This mode is used to set up a sequence of patterns for playback, and play the resulting chain. The following display will always appear when the PATTERN CHAIN mode is first selected. G PATTERN CHAIN Recording [REC]...(Page 161) Record pattern changes, BPM changes, scene/mute changes, and other elements of a pattern chain. G Job [JOB]...(Page 171) Accesses the pattern chain editing jobs. G Master [MASTER]...(Page 164) Provides access to the master EQ and master effect settings. G Edit [EDIT]...(Page 175) Allows the order of patterns recorded in a pattern chain to be edited, and new tempo or scene/mute events to be inserted. 158 RS7000
