Managing Your IPSAN Creating a New SLP Scope To create a new SLP scope on an iSCSI subsystem: 1 In the Tree Menu, click on the iSCSI Subsystem you want, then click SLP Scopes. The SLP Scopes On This iSCSI Subsystem window opens, as shown on page 6-38. 2 Click Create SLP Scope. The Create SLP Scope window opens. 3 Enter a name for the scope, then click OK to save the scope. You must now add an iSCSI target to the scope. See the next section for instructions. Adding an iSCSI Target to the Scope To add an iSCSI target to a scope: 1 In the Tree Menu, click on the iSCSI Subsystem you want, then click SLP Scopes. Creating a New SLP Scope
To create a new SLP scope on an iSCSI subsystem:

In the Tree Menu, click on the iSCSI Subsystem you want, then
click
SLP Scopes
.
The SLP Scopes On This iSCSI Subsystem window opens, as
shown on
page 6-38
.

Click
Create SLP Scope
.
The Create SLP Scope window opens.

Enter a name for the scope, then click
OK
to save the scope.
You must now add an iSCSI target to the scope. See the next
section for instructions.
Adding an iSCSI Target to the Scope
To add an iSCSI target to a scope:

In the Tree Menu, click on the iSCSI Subsystem you want, then
click
SLP Scopes
.
The SLP Scopes On This iSCSI Subsystem window opens, as
shown on
page 6-38
.

Click the SLP scope to which you want to add an iSCSI target.
