The name must not be the name of any other pool. If no RAID level is defined, basic is assumed. create name name raid raid0 | raid5 | raid10 depth stripe-depth devices device_list Create a new device pool called name at RAID level 0, 5 or 10 and define a list of devices to add to the new pool. The name must not be the name of any other pool. The stripe-depth is the number of blocks for the stripe depth. It must be a power of 2. destroy name_list Destroy the specified device pool. The disks and RAID groups associated with this device pool become available for use elsewhere. export name_list Export the pools in name_list. This will mean the disks in those pools are no longer available. If all of the disks in a pool are transferred to another unit they can be used in that unit by doing a pool import. 8-51
