Safety Tips Before you begin the installation, carefully read through this list of tips and safety cautions: ■ Have someone assist you during physical installation. ■ Leave enough room behind the Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem or rack for servicing and to allow for sufficient airflow. ■ If you plan to mount the Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem into a rack, select a suitable location that is clean, dust-free, wellventilated, and close to a grounded power outlet. ! Caution: To prevent personal injury and equipment damage, have someone assist you during installation. Follow the rack manufacturer's safety instructions. Install your chassis only in a rack that has been properly secured in an area with suitable environmental conditions. 3-2
