Managing Your IPSAN Managing Storage Pools A storage pool is a disk drive or collection of disk drives which can be divided into iSCSI targets. You can use one, some, or all of the Adaptec iSA1500 disk drives in a storage pool. You can also create a storage pool from a RAID array. This section provides instructions for managing storage pools. You can use Adaptec Storage Manager to: ■ Create a storage pool. (See page 4-5.) ■ View a list of storage pools on an iSCSI subsystem. Viewing an iSCSI Subsystem's Storage Pools To view a list of the storage pools associated with an iSCSI subsystem, in the Tree Menu, click on the iSCSI subsystem you want, then click Storage Pools.
