Managing Your IPSAN Viewing and Activating Software Features Your Adaptec Storage Manager license enables most features of your Adaptec iSA1500. Several upgrade features are also available for purchase. (See About Your Adaptec Storage Manager License on page 1-4.) To view the features currently enabled on your Adaptec iSA1500: 1 Open Adaptec Storage Manager and log in, following Steps 1 to 4 in Adding Agents on page 3-14. 2 In the Tree Menu, click the iSCSI subsystem you want, then click Features. The Features on the iSCSI Subsystem window opens, listing all special software features and their status as enabled or disabled. Feature status: Green check mark means enabled; red X means disabled. Note: The features enabled on your Adaptec iSA1500 may differ from those shown in the example above. If you have purchased additional features (see About Your Adaptec Storage Manager License on page 1-4), you must activate your new software feature license before the feature becomes enabled. To activate a software feature license: 1 Follow Step 1 and 2 above. 2 Click Enter License Key. 3 Enter the 24-character License Key, then click OK. The software feature is enabled for the iSCSI subsystem you selected. 6-2
