Introduction to iSCSI and IPSANs The Figure below shows where the different components may be installed. LAN iSCSI Station Installations Server Server Server Management Station Installation (a dedicated server or an iSCSI Station) IPSAN Storage Enclosure Storage Enclosure Storage Enclosure Adaptec Storage Manager must be installed on the Management Station and all iSCSI Stations on your IPSAN. Note: Only one Management Station is allowed on your IPSAN. (Your Management Station can also be an iSCSI Station.)
