Introduction to iSCSI and IPSANs Invalid IPSAN Configurations The configuration drawings in this section show three basic invalid IPSAN configurations and provide brief descriptions of why each one is invalid. Note: These are not the only configurations that may fail, but are provided as guidelines to common configuration mistakes. Invalid Configuration - Incorrect Connection The invalid configuration in this example shows a database server that is not connected to the general network.
