Follow Microsoft's instructions to complete the installation.) ■ Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI, see page 2-6) compliant iSCSI initiator. If your iSCSI Stations do not have WMI, you can create your IPSAN by following the instructions provided in Building Your IPSAN (Without WMI) on page 4-11. About Your Adaptec Storage Manager License Your Adaptec iSA1500 Storage Array offers several upgrade features which can be purchased separately. Product-specific License Keys are required to unlock these features in your Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem. For example, you need a License Key to enable synchronous mirroring or increase the number of snapshots. (See To purchase a License Key, contact your Adaptec Reseller or refer to the Adaptec Web site at www.adaptec.com. Storage management agents, which provide automated functionality and improve the manageability of the storage on Windows servers, also require the purchase of a software license. Three management licenses (one each for three servers) are included with the purchase of your product. Additional licenses can be purchased through your Adaptec Reseller. 1-4
