Getting Started Quickly 7 In the Host text box, enter the IP address of the Management port of the iSCSI subsystem, then click OK. An agent is added, and Adaptec Storage Manager recognizes the iSCSI subsystem on your IPSAN. Note: It may take a few moments for the new agent to be recognized. 8 Repeat Step 5 to 7 to add all servers and iSCSI subsystems. Configuring the Adaptec iSA1500 Subsystem To configure the Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem: 1 In the Tree Menu, click the iSCSI subsystem you want to configure. 2 Click the Network tab, then click the Interface you want. For instance, click Interface 1. Interface 0 = Interface 1 = Interface 2 = Management Port iSCSI Port 0 iSCSI Port 1 3 Click Set Interface.... 4 Enter the iSCSI Port Address information, then click OK. Note: The iSCSI port should be on the same subnet as the iSCSI initiators in the iSCSI stations, but a different subnet than the Management port. ! Caution: DHCP is not recommended. The Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem is configured. You can change the network settings at any time, if required (see Managing Network Settings on page 6-45). Setup is now complete. To configure the Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem:

In the Tree Menu, click the iSCSI subsystem you want to
configure.

Network
tab, then click the Interface you want. For
instance, click

Set Interface...
.

Enter the iSCSI Port Address information, then click
OK
.
Note:
The iSCSI port should be on the same subnet as the
iSCSI initiators in the iSCSI stations, but a different subnet
than the Management port.
Caution:

The Adaptec iSA1500 subsystem is configured. You can change
