Introduction About This Guide This User's Guide describes how to install, use, and monitor the Adaptec iSA1500 Storage Array subsystem. Note: This User's Guide assumes that an iSCSI agent is installed on all the hosts (iSCSI Stations) on the SAN and that both the iSCSI and Management agents are installed on the Management Station. See Installing the Software on page 3-9 for more information. This Guide assumes that you are familiar with computer hardware, data storage, and network administration terminology and tasks. It also assumes that you have basic knowledge of Redundant Array of Independent Disks (RAID) technology.
