Managing Your IPSAN Managing iSCSI Targets This section provides instructions for using Adaptec Storage Manager to manage storage pools. You can use Adaptec Storage Manager to: ■ View a list of the iSCSI targets associated with an iSCSI subsystem, as described in the next section on this page. ■ Create an iSCSI target. (See page 4-11.) ■ View iSCSI target details. (See page 6-24.) ■ Take an iSCSI target offline, or bring it back online. (See page 6-25.) ■ Create a new mirror with new iSCSI targets. Viewing a List of iSCSI Targets To view a list of iSCSI targets associated with an iSCSI subsystem, in the Tree Menu, click on the iSCSI Subsystem you want, then click iSCSI Targets. The Targets On This iSCSI Subsystem window opens (shown in the Figure in Creating an iSCSI Target on page 4-11), listing all the iSCSI targets associated with the selected iSCSI subsystem. 6-23
