Introduction to iSCSI and IPSANs Basic IPSAN with Four Servers and Single iSCSI Port This basic IPSAN configuration includes four servers. Two servers are connected to iSCSI interface Eth2 on subnet_1; the other two servers are connected to iSCSI interface Eth1 on subnet_3. Each server has a single iSCSI port. This configuration is managed through Management port Eth0 on subnet_2. Note: The two Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switches shown in this example could be replaced with one larger GbE switch with enough ports. Basic IPSAN with Four Servers and Single iSCSI Port
This basic IPSAN configuration includes four servers. Two servers
are connected to iSCSI interface Eth2 on subnet_1; the other two
servers are connected to iSCSI interface Eth1 on subnet_3. Each
server has a single iSCSI port. This configuration is managed
through Management port Eth0 on subnet_2.
Note:
The two Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) switches shown in this
