Building Your IPSAN 8 Click OK to begin volume creation. The Job Details window opens, showing the volume creation process and status Note: You can also view the job progress at any time by clicking the Jobs button at the top of your screen. You can delete a job in progress by clicking the Trash Can icon (shown at right) beside the job. 9 When the job is complete, confirm the volume creation by clicking on the server in the Tree Menu, then clicking Automation. The new volume should appear in the list of volumes. If you created a mirrored volume, it appears in the volume list with a special icon, as shown in the Figure below. The mirrored volume should appear on each server on which it was created. Mirrored Volume Icon You can use your new storage volume the same way you use a normal hard disk drive. 4-10
